If You Don’t Know Chris Hadfield, You Should (Video)

220px-Chris_Hadfield_2011Chris Hadfield is a Canadian astronaut who has flown several missions into space and was commander of the International Space Station (ISS) in 2013. During the mission he became  popular by taking pictures of the earth and posting them through Twitter and Facebook to a large following. His television episodes included “how to brush your teeth in space,” “what happens when you wring out a washcloth in space,?” and “how to clean up a spill in space.”

But his most famous space routine was when he performed David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” aboard the space station. It has over 17 million hits on YouTube.

If you didn’t before, I hope you’re glad you now know Chris Hadfield.
