Frum Fired for Comments Critical of GOP

Republican David Frum has been fired from his fellowship at the American Enterprise Institute after writing a blog post critical of the GOP’s handling of the health care debate.

In the post, Frum said this.

“A huge part of the blame for today’s disaster attaches to conservatives and Republicans ourselves,” he wrote. “At the beginning of this process we made a strategic decision: unlike, say, Democrats in 2001 when President Bush proposed his first tax cut, we would make no deal with the administration. No negotiations, no compromise, nothing.”

Essentially, Frum agreed with what the Democrats have been saying all along. The Republicans are the party of NO!
